Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar Escape

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be warmly welcomed by your Haven Africa Journeys guide. Transfer to your lodge in Arusha for check-in and relaxation. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and a short safari briefing to prepare for your adventure.

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive with opportunities to spot giraffes, zebras, lions, and various bird species. Picnic lunch will be served inside the park followed by an evening game drive.

After breakfast, journey through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands en route to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes and wildlife sightings along the way. Arrive in the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge for relaxation.

Spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with chances to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, and the Great Migration (seasonal). Optional hot-air balloon safari is available for a unique aerial experience. End the day with a relaxing evening at the lodge.

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. This wildlife-rich area is home to lions, rhinos, elephants, hippos, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending back to your lodge.

After breakfast, transfer back to Arusha for your domestic flight to Zanzibar Island. Upon arrival, transfer to your beach resort and spend the afternoon relaxing by the ocean. Optional activities include a romantic sunset dinner or cultural experiences.

Enjoy a relaxed morning at the beach resort. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a swim or short walk along the the coast before transferring to Zanzibar Airport for your onward journey.
