Day 1-2: Arrival & Kampala
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport. Transfer to your hotel in Kampala. City tour including the Uganda Museum and Kasubi Tombs. Overnight in Kampala.
Day 3-4: Murchison Falls National Park
Travel to Murchison Falls National Park. Afternoon game drive to see elephants, giraffes, and lions. Next day, boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls to see hippos and crocodiles.
Day 5-6: Kibale Forest National Park
Transfer to Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking. Walk through the rainforest with expert guides. Bird watching and nature walks in the afternoon.
Day 7-9: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Travel to Bwindi for the highlight of your trip - gorilla trekking. Spend time with mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Cultural visit to local Batwa communities.
Day 10-11: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park to see tree-climbing lions. Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel to see hippos, elephants, and abundant birdlife.
Day 12: Departure

The best time for gorilla trekking is during the dry seasons from June to September and December to February. Wildlife viewing is excellent year-round.
How much are gorilla trekking permits?
Gorilla permits in Uganda cost $700 per person for foreign non-residents. We can arrange permits as part of your safari package.
