About Kidepo Valley National Park
Kidepo Valley National Park is Uganda's most remote national park, located in the rugged, semi-arid valleys between Uganda's border with South Sudan and Kenya. Despite its isolation, it is arguably the most spectacular park in Uganda, with sweeping savanna landscapes framed by mountain ranges. The park hosts 77 mammal species including 28 found nowhere else in Uganda, and over 475 bird species. The Karamojong cultural experience is a unique highlight.
