Tour Overview
This 3-day gorilla trekking safari takes you into the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On day two, you'll trek through dense tropical rainforest with expert guides to find a habituated gorilla family. Spending an hour watching these magnificent creatures feed, play, and interact is a life-changing experience. The safari includes comfortable lodge accommodation, all meals, park fees, and transportation from Kampala.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Kampala early morning. Drive through the scenic countryside via Mbarara. Arrive at Bwindi in the afternoon. Check in to your lodge and prepare for tomorrow's trek. Evening briefing by your guide.
Day 2: Early morning gorilla trekking. Hike through the impenetrable forest with experienced rangers. Spend one hour with a habituated gorilla family. Return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon nature walk or Batwa cultural experience.
Day 3: Leisurely breakfast. Optional village walk or forest bird watching. Depart for Kampala, arriving in the evening.
